Plizy Tutorial 04 - The Facebook and Twitter Channels

One of the greatest features on Plizy is it's seemless integration of Facebook and Twitter – or so we think, at least. In addition to being able to 'quick-post' as well do custom posts on any video you watch on Plizy (seen here), you also have enhanced Facebook and Twitter channels, which are optimized for social interaction.

When we first look at the Facebook channel, for example, in Landscape mode, it appears similar to the other channels; however, in Portrait mode, we can take full advantage of the Facebook integration. In our vertical timeline, the top-right Comments tab offers us the comment feed from Facebook, which we can participate in, as well as a familiar Facebook Like button, and the ability to re-share the video on Twitter and Facebook.

In the Twitter channel, the comments tab provides similar features, tailored to Twitter interaction. We can reply to the friend that posted the video, retweet the video, and we can write custom tweets and facebook posts while linking to the video.

With Plizy's Facebook and Twitter channels, it's never been easier to keep up-to-date with what your friends are watching, as well as to share what you've discovered. Stay tuned for next week's Plizy Tutorial.
